Most clients are under impression it is best to choose neutral colours and materials to achieve timeless design and tend to shy away from high-impact colours when designing or renovating their kitchens. The colour scheme in this open plan kitchen extension is unapologetically bold, intriguing and sophisticated. This painted glass splash back introduces the colour into the space in a big way. They key when going for a strong colour is to let it own the room. To keep it as a key feature, all other elements had to be cool and understated.
